What is eCoaching?

eCoaching is a system of instruction that uses email and web hosted video to increase effectiveness in the water by making educational strides out of the water. eCoaching is most effective using any of the ‘Video’ programs where after each session you will receive a web link to view your day’s waves. Along with your video link you will be emailed a review of your session as well as notes from the SurfCoach on improving the next session.

What if I have never surfed before?

Great! There is no better time to start surfing than NOW. However, you will need to swim well enough to make learning and improving your surfing ability a safe endeavor.

What if conditions are unfavorable for surfing?

If conditions do not permit a lesson it may be necessary to change locations or just reschedule. This is very common being as weather, swell, tide, and wind are constantly changing and effecting surf conditions.

What about group lessons?

SoCal SurfCoach does not offer group lessons. An individual lesson combined with video critique is the fastest and most effective way to improve your surfing ability. However, you are more than welcome to have anyone tag along to watch lessons.
